What we do

Four trades, and the remodels that need all four

We do each of these ourselves, in the order the job actually needs them. We will tell you what the work involves before you commit to it.

  • Interior framing

Walls, partitions and openings laid out and framed square and plumb, ready for the mechanical trades to rough in behind them.

    • New interior walls and partitions
    • Door and window openings
    • Framing for remodels and additions
  • Insulation

Wall and ceiling insulation fitted before the board goes up, cut to the cavity and worked around wiring and boxes rather than crammed past them.

    • Wall and ceiling cavities
    • Cut and fitted around wiring and boxes
    • Installed before drywall
  • Drywall, repair and texture

New board hung, taped and textured — and existing walls patched, including the openings left behind by a rewire. Repairs are textured and painted as part of the same job.

    • Hanging, taping and texture
    • Patching and repair to existing walls
    • Texturing and painting the repair
  • Flooring

Laminate, vinyl plank, tile and hardwood, laid over a subfloor we have checked and prepared first.

    • Subfloor prep and levelling
    • Laminate, vinyl plank, tile and hardwood
    • Trim and transitions
  • Remodels and additions

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, whole-home remodels and room additions, taken through the trades in the order the job needs them.

    • Kitchen and bathroom remodels
    • Basement and whole-home remodels
    • Room additions
  • Free estimate and walkthrough

We come out, walk the space with you, and put the scope in writing so you can read what is and is not included before you decide.

How it works

From the first call to the last walkthrough

You will know what the work involves and what it covers, in writing, before anyone picks up a tool.

  1. Call or message us

A sentence is enough. You will be talking to the family that does the work, not an office — the details can wait until we are standing in the room.

  2. We come out and look

We walk the space with you, take measurements, and talk through what the work involves and where you have a choice to make.

  3. You get a free written estimate

Broken out by scope, so you can see what each part of the job covers. Nothing is scheduled until you say yes to it.

  4. We do the work and walk it with you

We keep you posted as the job moves through the trades, clean up behind us, and go through the finished space with you at the end.

About us

A family business in Snohomish County

JC Pro-Build is family owned and operated. We work out of Snohomish — Alejandra runs the office and I am out on the jobs — and we take work across Snohomish, King and Skagit counties.

What we do is the inside of the house: framing, insulation, drywall and flooring, and the kitchen, bathroom, basement and whole-home remodels and additions that need all four. We do it for homeowners directly and as a subcontractor for general contractors. It is the work we know best, so it is the work we take.

The part that matters as much as the work is telling you about it. You should understand what is happening in your house, why it is being done that way, and what comes next — not find out at the end. Call and you will get a straight answer, whether or not it is the one that wins us the job.

We hired JC Pro-build to patch 85 large holes in our 115 year old home that were left after having all of the wiring updated. And they were AWESOME! … Juan and crew were super friendly, efficient, hard working and respectful of us and our home. We also appreciated their careful consideration of our pets throughout the project. The price was more than fair and they really knew what they were doing.

After two contractors came and went, leaving a mess for the next guy to clean up, I was desperate. … Juan and Jose came in, no wasting time, no endless phone calls or smoking breaks…they came in and worked hard and finished the job in 2 days. When finishing up the floor trim, Jose noticed the last piece of trim was an inch short! Instead of having to go back to Home Depot, he came up with a brilliant solution!

JC Pro-Build has been a great partner to have on our projects. … They get us estimates in a timely manner and we never are left guessing what their scope of work is. As a GC having good subs is important and they take care of our clients from start to finish and have never had to "re do" a project. They get it right the first time! The crew is great and Alejandra in the office is great to work with.

Before you call

The things people ask first

What kind of work do you take?

Framing, insulation, drywall from hanging through tape and texture, and flooring. We patch and repair existing drywall as well as hanging new. We also take kitchen, bathroom, basement and whole-home remodels and additions, which usually need all four of those trades in sequence.

Do you patch drywall after a rewire?

Yes — that is work we take. A rewire means cutting into walls and ceilings, and we come in afterwards to patch the openings, texture them and paint. We have been referred for that work by the contractors doing the rewire. Tell us roughly how many openings there are and we will come and look.

Which areas do you cover?

Snohomish, King and Skagit counties. We are based in Snohomish on Woods Creek Road. If you are not sure whether you fall inside that, call and we will tell you straight away rather than sending someone on a wasted trip.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Estimates are free. We come out, look at the job with you, and put the scope in writing so you can read it before you decide anything.

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes. We hold Washington State contractor licence #JCPROPC771D7 with the Department of Labor & Industries, registered as a General Construction Contractor and currently active. We carry a $12,000 contractor bond through Western Surety Company and $1,000,000 in general liability cover through Contractors Bonding & Insurance Company. You can look the licence up on the L&I website, and we are happy to send the certificates before anyone sets foot on your property.

Do you frame new construction, or only remodels?

Both. We frame interior walls and partitions on new work, and we do the same framing inside a remodel or an addition. It is the same trade either way.

How do I get in touch?

Call (425) 737-8236 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. You can also email us, or message us on Facebook — whichever is easier for you.
